Connect With UsOur program is focused on supporting startups in the field of Generative AI. Key features of the program are:
The program is open to early-stage startups that have a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP). The startup should be at the seed, or early-stage funding.
The startup should be legally registered and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
The startup should have the potential to scale its solution to a global market, and have notable client served by them.
The startup should have a strong and committed team with relevant skills and experience in the field of Generative AI.
The startup's core business should be focused on AI, including but not limited to, natural language processing, speech generation and computer vision.
The startup's founders and key team members should be committed to actively participating in the program and willing to work closely with mentors and experts.
The startup should have an innovative and unique solution that solves a real-world problem or offers a significant improvement over existing solutions in the market.
Startups should have a minimum of 1 year of funding runway available.
Wipro ran the first cohort of its Accelerator Program in 2023 where 10 emerging GenAI startups went through an 8-week Enterprise Readiness Accelerator Program. The startups went through an intense and rigorous curriculum comprised of masterclasses, workshops, assignments & 1-1 Mentorship sessions with both wipro & external industry experts.
On October 12, 2023, Wipro graduated its first GenAI Startup cohort at an invite-only event hosted in Silicon Valley, USA which was attended by clients, leading investors & venture capitalists, GenAI experts, academic visionaries, and industry leaders. The event was led by Wipro CTO, Subha Tatavarti and Tech Strategy Head, Arvind Ravishunkar.
The graduating startups presented their products and solutions that use GenAI to solve real-world problems and create value for their customers. The demos included applications such as Gen AI for ecommerce, real time accent modification, video creation with NLP, synthetic human generation, AI powered cataloging, synthetic data generation, conversational analytics co-pilot and more.
A panel discussion featuring prominent Gen AI experts and practitioners was also a part of the event.
